About 4 months ago, we had some rodent activity in our roof cavity. Through Google, we found a ‘pest specialist’ who came over, verified that we had rats, chucked some baits around and told us everything is good. I specifically asked if I needed to do anything afterwards. He said everything was taken care of and I didn’t have to do anything. Last week, we heard scratching and squeaking from above the ceiling again.

After reading some positive reviews, I called Zero Pest and spoke to Darren. He is friendly, professional and has a eye for detail. Baits were placed properly in boxes (above ceiling and under crawl space). He also did a thorough inspection of my house and photographed all the possible and potential entry points, as well as gave advice on how to seal them to prevent future re-infestation. They are not the cheapest, but he spent 4 times longer at my property than the last guy. You get what you paid for. Darren will be coming back in 2 weeks to seal off all the entry points, on the roof and below the house. It costs extra, but given the work, know-how, material and equipment required, it’s a fair price. Plus, there’s a 5 year warranty for peace of mind.

In my current case, Darren was not only prompt, professional, and kind, but he literally took his time thoroughly walked through our home to look for openings where the rodents may come in.
He took extra care to explore any possible openings around the rooftop.

He photographed all the potential and possible entry points, explained to me the holes that were allowing for the infestation, and how he was going to stop them.
I didn't realize that there were so many little holes that the rodents could get through!

Darren was very responsive and always answered my questions in the lead up to the task which I appreciated.

Follow up 14 days after the initial treatment, Darren came back to seal off all the entry points.

He arrived on time and completed the job promptly and professionally. He don't just fix the problem, he ensure it never returns.

Very professional - we can finally sleep at night knowing these little pests aren't running around in the roof!

Why did no other company previously bother to tell me where the rats where getting in?

Darren spent over 45 minutes before he started work to find out where they had been getting in. He inspected all around my property and climbed on my roof looking for there entry points

He took photos, forwarded them to me and then sat down with me for another 20 minutes and explained what he had found and what I needed to do to stop them getting back in after his treatment.

He explained that they eat figs, snails, lemons, bird eggs and all sorts of disgusting things I never knew about, he found them on my property and even lots of snail shells up in the roof!!.

I was confident that he would succeed as he knew what he was talking about.

It has been 4 weeks since he treated our home and we haven’t heard a Rat since!

Just wanted to say a huge "thank you" for cleaning up our issue with the pigeons and their mess in and on top of our roof and guttering. You were professional and prompt from our initial contact with your company.
I would highly recommend your services to any potential new clients. We appreciated your punctuality and hard work. When you said you were going to be there you were, or if you were held up, you notified us. We were kept updated throughout the whole process.
Our roof and roof cavity were completely infested by pigeons and their mess not to mention a huge potential health threat, which you pointed out to us. We can now rest easy though as you managed to catch and remove over 25 pigeons and their eggs and clean up our roof cavity, guttering and roof. You also took preventative measures to stop them returning by placing appropriate spikes and products on our air conditioning unit and roof, which has been successful.
After the initial works we did had a few pigeons still remain, which you advised may be the case because they liked to "hide". I phoned you to let you know and you came out the same day and dealt with the problem and returned the following day to ensure there were no more pigeons trapped. Your follow up calls were also appreciated.
I also have to make mention and thank you for fixing our cooling/heating pipe that had been crushed in our roof and was not connected properly. That was above and beyond and greatly appreciated. We are all enjoying much cooler air conditioning now.
